Ideal formula to significantly improve your technique. You use your lesson hours as you wish in agreement with your instructor. In addition, these courses are transferable. They are not necessarily assigned to the same person. Free high-performance skis with the purchase of a 6-hour block, for the duration of the lesson. Details at the ski school office.

Group lessons: from the age of 4

Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ideal formula for young people wanting:

  • Gain confidence and independence
  • Automate the skills needed to hit the slopes in all situations
  • Learn to descend a slalom course
  • Prepare adequately to perhaps join the ranks of the competition club

Pre-requisites: descend a green run without help (Ex: trail Simard or trail 16)

The young academy

Here we go into TURBO mode. For young people who want to continue their technical development in all snow conditions and all types of terrain, without having to participate in regional competitions. Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

ADULT GROUP LESSONS

This ski lesson is for adults wishing to improve their skiing technique at all levels. Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Lessons given by a level 3 instructor.

Sliding sports involve certain risks, wearing a helmet is strongly recommended. The ski school instructors are recognized by the CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance)

Snowboarding lessons

Snowboard lessons are offered by L’école de Snowboard Saguenay, to register you must contact the ESS or BOOK ONLINE

Headquarter

The first steps towards snowboarding in our exclusive beginner’s slope. Learn to slide and know the basics to be able to go on the mountain. No prerequisites. Day ticket not required to access HQ.

Initiation

Basic slalom and braking techniques. We will learn to direct ourselves and acquire autonomy on a beginner’s ground. Single or session lessons. Prerequisites for session courses: take an introductory unit course. Daily ticket not included.

FREESTYLE

Level 1: Develop freestyle skills. Jump and slide on basic modules. Acquire beginner maneuvers. Prerequisites: be able to do your slalom. Daily ticket not included.

Level 2: Development of different tricks on obstacles of different levels. Prerequisites: be introduced to freestyle. Daily ticket not included.

FREERIDE

Level 1: Development of basic freeriding skills. Powder snow, slalom and glades will be there. Prerequisites: be able to do your slalom. Daily ticket not included.

Level 2: Pick up the pace in different terrains and improve our downhill techniques (switch and carving). Pre-requisite: initiated to switch and carving. Daily ticket not included.
